Procrastination one two three
59One of the banes of any endeavour we undertake is procrastination. It is something we have all experienced at some point in our lives. Show me someone who has NEVER procrastinated, and I will give him/her top ranking on google.
But there really are different forms of procrastination, positive procrastination, negatative procrastination and habitual procrastination. Most people will look at procrastination as totally negative, but there are cases when it could be considered positive. See below for links to other articles detailing this.
The problem with procrastination is not only the act or non-act itself, but also the negative accusations we come up with about ourselves. This means that we go into negative self-talk with ourselves, feeling guilty because we are not doing. The worse we feel, the more negative self-talk. A viscious circle.
